The Balasubramanian Group

Welcome to the Balasubramanian Group Home Page

We are a group based in the Chemistry Department and also (from February 2010) the Cambridge Research Institute (CRI) at the University of Cambridge. Research in our group is largely hypothesis driven and employs the principles of chemistry and the molecular sciences to address questions of importance in biology.

The CRI based researchers will focus on cell biology and translational aspects of the group's work and will complement the group's chemistry and molecular biophysics expertise in the Department of Chemistry The combination of both laboratories will enable us to undertake integrated research programmes that involve chemistry, biophysics, cell biology and molecular medicine.
